Prudhomme Redfish Magic Seasoning

I love Chef Paul Prudhomme's Blackened Redfish Magic seasoning. It is superb on any meat, especially chicken! The skinny bottles of his seasonings go fast for how much they cost, leading me to wonder what the ingredients are so I can make it at home. Thank Science for the Internet!

today I will be following this recipe to create my own "RedFish Magic"
3 teaspoons salt, optional
1/2 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons paprika

Prudhomme's redfish magic became so popular in the 80s that the Redfish entered the endangered species list. Too bad they didn't know his seasoning is good on anything! Now you can enjoy your own home made bottle of Redfish magic without his creepy fat face staring at you from the bottle... unless you like it then buy one of his seasonings, use it up and refill it with your own! Everyone can get what they want :)
